¿Cómo pronunciar una palabra en un idioma que no conocemos?
Los traductores online ofrecen la equivalencia de una palabra en otro idioma, pero muestran cómo se escribe. Pero si se desea hablar, la traducción no será de utilidad. En muchos idiomas, como el inglés, las palabras se dicen de un modo diferente del que se escriben.
Pero existe un sitio web que permite ingresar una palabra o frase en español y devuelve el resultado escrito, pero también hablado, en 18 idiomas.
El sistema de Oddcast permite, incluso, personalizar la voz del “locutor virtual”. Por ejemplo, para el idioma español ofrece catorce voces diferentes, con acento neutro, español, mexicano, argentino y latinoamericano en hombre y en mujer. Lo mismo para los otros 18 idiomas.
El primer paso es ir al sitio e ingresar el texto en español. A continuación, seleccionar “Spanish” en la lista “Translate From:”. Luego elegir el idioma al que se quiere traducir la palabra o frase de la lista bajo la etiqueta “To:”. Y por último, opcional, la acentuación y el sexo con el que queremos escuchar la pronunciación (etiqueta “Voice”). Este es un ejemplo posible:
Una vez que hagamos click en el botón “Say it”, veremos la traducción escrita bajo la etiqueta “Translation:” y escucharemos la traducción de la frase original.

I come from a farm in colorado in the south west of the USA. The word colorado means coloured res in inspanish it’a a fantastinc place to live. Colorado isn’t on the coast but often swim in the lake and i love white water rafting on the river at the weekend. I also like climbing mountains in the winter lost of people ski but u prefer snowboarding with my brothers.
